I was thinking about the process of being an artist and putting on an exhibition, I think it almost has an athletic quality about it, 1. Be inspired 2. buy the equipment to actualize your ideas 3. create, evaluate, create and create 4. Take to the framers 5. Pick up from the framers. 6. light and photograph work 7. Blog work 8. all this running parallel to working with the gallery, doing invitations, sending invitations, thinking about opening night, doing opening night and all the other little bits and pieces. The quote, 1% inspiration 99% perspiration comes to mind! The funny thing is I love every second of it and wake up each day excited to be part of it all 🙂
